Aluminum Bronze
Aluminum Bronze Overlay coating is a copper, aluminum, iron base welding alloy used for GTAW and GMAW welding.

The Ceramic Flame Spray System is unique because it utilizes ceramic oxide rods. The rods are melted in a patented spray unit which projects the fully molten particles onto a substrate high velocity. The Chrome Oxide particles cannot leave the spray unit until fully molten. These particles have high kinetic energy and high thermal mass, so they remain molten until they reach the substrate.
The deposit effiency of the Chrome Oxide system is not dependent on the thickness of the coating. Therefore, thicker coatings - greater than .030 inch - if required, can be applied without a reduction in deposit effiency or quality. Chrome Oxide coatings can be deposited to a thickness greater than 0.060 inch.
The Ceramic Process—Ceramic rods are melted, atomized and sprayed at high velocity (550ft./sec.) onto metal or nonmetallic surfaces. This forms a hard, chemically inert coating that can be left as is or ground to a specified surface finish.
Wear resistance—ceramic coatings are much harder and far more resistant to wear and abrasion than metals, making them ideal for pump components like sleeves, plungers, impellers and castings. Ceramic increases service life for applications where the fluid being pumped contains sand, dirt, or other abrasive particles. This reduces downtime for maintenance and greatly increases productivity.
Colmonoy (nickel-based)

6 56-63Rockwell C 1890°F/1025°C The original, nickel-based hard-surfacing alloy, containing diamond-like chromium borides and carbides. Extremely resistant to wear, especially under corrosive conditions. Low coefficient-of-friction. Can be hot-formed. Finished by grinding.
5 45-50Rockwell C 1880°F/1030°C Has greater ductility, better impact resistance and workability than Colmonoy 6. For wear rings, plungers, dies. Finished with carbide tools and grinding. See spec. I. Used when "salt bath" quenching is required to acheive a hardened base metal. Also used for glass mould press-and-blow plungers.
45 43-46Rockwell C 1910°F/1045°C Developed for oil patch industry for the sole purpose of being able to be polymer quenched. This quenching process is more severe than "salt bath" quenching to achieve a deeper and more thorough hardening of the base metal. The polymer is held at around 150°F.
4 35-40Rockwell C 1925°F/1050°C Has greater impact resistance and workability than Colmonoy 5. For dies, moulds, valves, and plungers. Finished with carbide tools and grinding. See spec. III.
882 59-64Rockwell C 2020°F/1100°C Unique alloy contains chromium and tungsten borides adn carbides for maximum abrasion and corrosion resistance. For high temperature, highly abrasive applications; glass mould plungers, pump plungers and sleeves, valve seats, plastics extrusion screws. Finished by grinding or CBN tools.
